Top 3 Bloggers that Show You How to Make Money Not Just Blogging But By Being A BLOGPRENUER

I am just 1 week old realizing that blogging is not just for fun but a serious business.

Oh Gosh! I wish I had knew this, say, 6 months ago. It was the fear factor that gripped me.

My fears was that;

1. I am not a good writer
2. I need a huge fan base before I start out blogging
3. I need to know a lot.Become a sort of encyclopedia so I can have lots to offer
4. I need money to promote my blog
5.The huge competition.

All of these kept me "a wanna be" blogger for months until when I saw the light at the end of my fears tunnel.

Before now,I have read some blogs that tell me that I can only blog about things I know how to do best. That is if I can play football,I could write about that.If it is cooking,I can set up cooking blog.

But my problem was my fears. It just kept me trapped to the ideas bubbling in my head looking for expression.

Things did changed when I stumbled upon these guys blogs. These guys changed my mindset completely and I felt a surge of confidence went through my mind that I could become a pro blogger like them.

I will be sharing their blogs with you and the content in particular that changed my worldview.

The first in no particular order is:

"How to Make Money Blogging: How This Blog Makes $100K per Month by Jon Morrow."

I was jolted from my tepidity by the immense amount of cash Jon makes off his blog.He makes a whooping $100,000 in his best month.Just doing blogging.

It was as if scales were taken off my eyes as I excitedly burrow through this article.

Jon minced no words as he reveals ways by which he makes such huge amount of money doing blogging.

I would not forget in a hurry his words:" To most of the world, blogging is a joke.
It isn’t a career. It isn’t a way to make money. It isn’t a tool for changing the world."

Oh boy!.That was my mindset too until I come across Jon's blog.

Surprisingly,Jon did not make this whooping amount of money off selling ads spaces or making any ebooks to sell on his blog. You may be shocked by what he reveals as means by which he had turned his blog,Smartblogger  to a money making machine.

Jon gives 5 steps by steps ways of making money doing blogging. Here are the step by step lists:
  1. Set up your blog
  2. Write content that gets lots of traffic
  3. Convert visitors into email subscribers
  4. Send those subscribers content that builds trust
  5. Sell products or services your audience wants.
He goes on to share 10 Lessons on what he did to make about $100,000 per month with his blog.

The next guy on the list is Mary Jaksch.

She is a woman that has carve a niche for herself in the blogging world. She do know her onions when it comes to blogging and I was greatly moved by her article on

"How to Run Your First Webinar (with No Skills, No Stress and No Budget)".

This was taking things too far for me when out of curiosity clicked on this article. This is because I, being a rookie in blogging, how could I be so daring getting my hands on doing webinar?

Mary really demystified webinar for me.

He took my by the hand and showed me how to run my first webinar even if i had no experience before or no money to employ the services of expensive software.

I remember this recurring sub title in my mind ; 'Why serious bloggers love webinar.'

See the benefits that captured my heart if you do webinars as a serious blogger:

You transform your ideas into events. As the experienced blogger Chris Garrett says: You get the opportunity to create a sense of event around your ideas, value and information.
  • You forge a unique bond with your readers. Watching you on live camera is the next best thing to seeing you in person. Not only can they see you, but they can also interact with you. And in the future when they read your content, they’ll hear your voice.
  • You become an authority. When you appear as a presenter and give value to your readers, you create fans who respect you as an authority.
  • You increase your blog traffic. Online events, like webinars, are like magnets. They attract traffic and generate new subscriptions.
  • You can earn a little money. If you review, promote, or talk about a product in a webinar, you can make sales and earn income.
If you are still scared as I was about running a webinar, you got to read her eye-opening article,How to Run Your First Webinar (with No Skills, No Stress and No Budget)

The last but certainly not the least is this article from Mary Fernandez.

This article really did it for me. It took me a giant step forward on ways to make my blog post get massive exposure that it needs.

Mary Fernandez a female blogger has a fast and growing blog she names Persuasion Nation.

In her article on:

"10 Things You Need to Do After You Publish Your Blog Post"

One cannot but be wowed by the 10 list of actions I had to take after publishing my blog post. As a rookie blogger,I thought writing creative and cool stuff is what will make my blog post reach a large audience,I now know that I need much more than writing cool stuff or writing well.

Mary succinctly showed me how things like internal linking of my blog post, digging deep into my blog post data, connecting with influencers using Buzzsumo and much more.

This paragraph really got me.

"Smart bloggers create “evergreen” social media campaigns.

An evergreen campaign is a series of social media updates that constantly recycle themselves. So instead of just sharing your post a few times and calling it a day, your post gets promoted over and over again, on autopilot.

You can set this up by using a tool called MeetEdgar. This tool allows you to create a library of social media updates and a queue that automatically fills itself using the updates in your library.

Here are some ideas for social media updates to add to your evergreen campaign:

Share the headline, or a variation of the headline for your post
Share a quote or excerpt from your post
Share an infographic or image from your post
Tag an influencer who you featured in the post."
